Chandler’s Auto Parts Warehouse Under New Ownership!

Effective October 25, 2004, Jack Hinson, CEO and President of Concho Supply Inc., has completed the purchase of Chandler’s Auto Parts Warehouse at 2821 W. 5th Street in Fort Worth. This purchase includes the branch stores located at 5232 McCart in Fort Worth, and in Springtown located at 2804 Hwy 199 East.
Chandler’s was started by Dwight Chandler in 1962 with 2 employees, and has grown to 52 employees in 44 years. This growth was due to the expansion of our auto parts lines such as Pronto, ACDelco, and Motorcraft, as well as the technical expertise and customer service of our employees. After Mr. Chandler’s death in 2001, his daughters Linda Grimes and Cheryl Richardson continued to own the business until this sale. In order to honor the founder of this business, the Chandler’s name will continue to be a part of the Fort Worth and Springtown stores.
Concho Supply Inc. is headquartered in San Angelo, with other branch locations in Grand Prairie, Abilene, and Temple. Concho Supply Inc. was founded by Jack and Carol Hinson in 1971 and with the purchase of Chandler’s now has 139 employees. Mr. Hinson states, “I am extremely excited about the acquisition of the Chandler’s stores. The good name and reputation is one reason why I was attracted to this purchase, as well as the experienced staff at Chandler’s.”
The current management and employees at all Chandler’s locations will continue to serve its customers by providing top quality, name brand, auto parts with the highest level of customer service. Richard Weaver, and the branch managers, are excited to be able to continue in their same assignments and look forward to the long-term growth of the company.
This purchase by Concho Supply Inc. further signifies the commitment Chandler’s has to its loyal customers as it widens the opportunity to provide premium lines of auto parts, as well as additional savings to our customers.
