1Parts announces Alex Gelbcke as new CEO

New CEO at 1Parts

1Parts Global Aftermarket Services and its board of directors announced today that Alex Gelbcke, will join the organization as Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2019. Alex will take the reins of the CEO position from Co-CEO’s Bill Maggs (President / CEO National Pronto Association, North America) and Omer Wesemael (Managing Director ADI AutoDistribution International, EMEA).  

Mike Mohler and Nico Muyldermans, both Vice-President Partner & Vendor Relations at 1Parts, remain active within 1Parts and will support Alex in his new responsabilities.

Gelbcke is a seasoned global aftermarket executive with over 25 years of experience in general management, marketing, sales and operations. He joins 1Parts after serving most recently as CEO of BIHR Europe, a leading distributor of aftermarket motorcycle parts. He was employed by Tenneco Automotive for 17 years and served as EMEA region Vice President and General Manager.   Gelbcke holds a Master’s degree in Business and Management Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School of Management and Economics, is married, and the proud father of two children. He will be headquartered in a newly designed and remodeled office in Kortenberg, Belgium adjacent to the ADI headquarters.
